The TMJ Physio approach

A clear explanation. A plan that fits the person.

TMJ Physio is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of temporomandibular dysfunction.

Jaw symptoms do not always arrive alone. The practice considers the relationship between the TMJ, surrounding muscles, the neck and posture, then shares the knowledge and support you need to understand and manage your condition.

A few useful answers

Before you get in touch

More detailed information about TMJ symptoms and the clinic’s treatment approach is available throughout the site.

What does TMJ Physio treat?

TMJ Physio focuses on temporomandibular disorders (TMD), including jaw joint and muscle problems. The site also describes headaches, migraines, facial and ear pain, neck symptoms and related concerns.

Can jaw problems be associated with headaches or neck pain?

The jaw and neck can be closely related, and TMD may occur alongside headaches, migraines and neck symptoms. A qualified health professional can assess your individual symptoms and determine what may be contributing.

What treatment approaches are used?

Depending on the assessment, physiotherapy management may include manual therapy, myofascial techniques, exercise, acupuncture, electrotherapy and advice. Your plan is individual.

Where are appointments held?

TMJ Physio lists appointments at Chelsea Medical Centre on Kings Road and at The Lister Hospital on Chelsea Bridge Road in London.
